Overview

The Single Assessment System aims to simplify and improve aged care assessments. The new system makes it easier for older people to access government-funded aged care services as their needs change.

Aged care assessments are delivered in 22 service areas across Australia. Each service area is made up of a number of Aged Care Planning Regions.
