Specialisation Verification
Go to Key Resources
Overview
Specialisation Verification is a voluntary process that helps aged care providers stand out for the tailored support they offer to specific communities or groups.
Providers can apply to be recognised for their work with one or more of 9 identified groups – including culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTI older people or those affected by homelessness.
Because each service outlet may have its own staff, clients and ways of working, each outlet must apply individually.
Verified outlets are listed on the My Aged Care website to support older Australians and their families to make informed choices when selecting care.
