  • Koorie Heritage Trust, Birrarung Building, Fed Square, Aunty Joyce & Uncle Stewart meeting rooms Cnr Flinders & Swanston St Melbourne (map)

Turn registration renewal requirements into a practical plan for your organisation

Join us for a full-day, practical in-person workshop to support home care providers to prepare for registration renewal.

Open to providers across Registration Categories 1 to 5, this workshop gives you dedicated time to understand the renewal requirements, work through the relevant application forms and identify the actions your organisation needs to take.

The day combines facilitated learning, practical activities and action planning, giving you the opportunity to work through the requirements.

What the workshop will cover

During the workshop, we’ll cover:

  • the registration renewal process, requirements, timelines and fees

  • the REN 001 base renewal application form

  • the category-specific application forms – REN 005 to REN 009

  • what commitment, capability and capacity mean, and how these need to be demonstrated

  • developing your organisation’s Registration Renewal Readiness Action Plan.

There will also be a dedicated audit readiness session for Category 4 and 5 providers.

In the afternoon, participants will come back together to turn what they’ve learned into a practical readiness action plan to take back to their organisation.

What you’ll take away

You’ll receive a copy of the workshop presentation and practical tools, including the Registration Renewal Readiness Action Plan template, to take back and use within your organisation.

The workshop will give you time to:

  • work through the registration renewal requirements

  • ask questions

  • identify gaps within your organisation

  • start developing a practical readiness action plan

  • clarify what your organisation needs to do next.

Come prepared to work through the requirements and apply them to your organisation’s registration renewal preparation.
