We've made a free, on-demand online course that shows people who work in aged care how to film and finish a simple interview video on their phone.
Join us at lunchtime for 45 minutes to see what's in the course, hear from someone working in aged care who's already made their own video and ask anything you like.
Who it's for
People who work in CHSP and Support at Home-funded aged care who want to capture the stories behind their programs and services.
You don't need any video experience. You don't need to be creative or good with technology.
What we'll cover
why we made the course, and what people working in aged care told us they needed
a look inside the course – what's in each of the 7 steps and how long they take
how to work through the course at your own pace, and come back for a refresher anytime
how to sign up
the support available once you start, and how to join the Capturing Stories community
Hear from someone who’s done it
Myah McGinity, Social Support Group Program Leader at Banyule City Council, took part in our co-design workshop and made her own video. She’ll share what the process was like, what surprised her and what she’d say to someone who's thinking about starting.
Bring your questions
There's time set aside to ask questions and talk through your own video ideas – the story you'd like to capture or the thing that's stopping you.
And bring your lunch.
