  A – From 1 July 2025 

  • Continue to refer your unassessed clients to My Aged Care to be assessed  

  • Match the client’s service type on your client management system with the service list in the CHSP 2025-27 Manual

  • You need to record the client’s MAC ID in your client management system in preparation for January 2026

From 1 November 2025 

  • When the new Act comes into effect on 1 November, clients must be assessed as eligible through a My Aged Care assessment to receive CHSP services

From January 2026

  • Record a client’s MAC ID in DEX reporting
